According to reports, Manchester United are still seeking to sign 29-year-old Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic and will only let Martial go if they manage to secure the services of the Croatian.
Although English media is reporting this, there are conflicting reports coming from Italy where the media believes that Perisic has pledged his immediate future with Inter Milan.
Manchester United have been interested in the forward since last Summer and Jose Mourinho remains an admirer of the Inter man and recently said that the Croatian would add something different to his Manchester United side.
Both Inter and Perisic are digging in their heels although the Serie A club are eyeing up a move for Bayern Munich’s Chile international midfielder Arturo Vidal who could be seen as a possible replacement for Perisic.
If Perisic does make a move to Old Trafford, it is believed that this would give the green light on a move away from the club for Martial. Who is reportedly very interested in a move away from the Manchester Club in a bid to find more regular first team football. Manchester United however are not really ken on letting him go to a Premier League rival, so it is likely that he will be sold to a club abroad.
Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are both known to be interested in Martial. Also monitoring his situation are Tottenham Hotspur.
