Speaking to Calciomercato, the agent of Domeinco Bercardi believes there is a chance his client could be a Spurs player next season.
Simone Sighedoni said: “Inter and Tottenham after him? All I can say is that we received many offers, from Italy and from abroad. He has always been an Inter fan, but I can’t confirm their interest as we are only in March.”
The 21 year old forward had been co-owned by Serie A champions Juventus until last summer, but reports suggest that they retained the option to bring him back to Turin in 2016.
However, Sighedoni isn’t certain whether the agreement will go through
“It’s true; there is a kind of gentlemen’s agreement with the Bianconeri. This doesn’t mean that he will join them for sure in June. It will be up to the player to choose.” He said.
With the Old Lady currently having Paolo Dybala, Álvaro Morata and Mario Mandžukić in their ranks, the competition for the Italian would most certainly dent his chances of development.
And with a vibrant, trustworthy like Pochettino to work under – whose Spurs squad have an average age of 22 – the chances would come a lot easier for Bercadi.
