Arsene Wenger is prepared to offer Dynamo Kyiv straight cash for the signing of highly rated winger Andriy Yarmolenko.
Transfermarketweb and various other sites report that the Gunners are set to make an offer soon to bring the 26-year-old to the Emirates Stadium this winter.
However, Arsenal face competition from across the continent, as Everton, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are all in for the winger too.
Yarmolenko has been a target for many teams across Europe due to his incredible performances for Kyiv in both the domestic league and European competitions.
Wenger though has said that he expects a quite end to the January transfer window despite the buzz that this window could be the busiest yet, the Arsenal manager said: “You will certainly have some work to do in the next ten days, not especially with Arsenal but with other clubs,
“We are always open to an exceptional opportunity we can take for the long-term. But I expect our last ten days to be quiet at the moment.”
