Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama could be soon heading out the door for the Saints if he doesn’t sign a new contract by the summer.
Arsenal have been keen admirers for the Kenyan since he was at Celtic, and Arsene Wenger could soon get his man as the Daily Telegraph report that Southampton will sell their rock of a midfielder if he keeps stalling contract talk.
Another midfielder who could be joining Arsenal is Borussia Monchengladbach star Granit Xhaka. The Swiss midfielder has again been linked with Gunners, and Wenger now faces competition from fellow Premier League sides Chelsea and Liverpool.
Xhaka has a transfer fee of around £37million, but Monchengladbach owner Max Eberl admitted the 23-year-old could leave Germany in the summer. With reports that Wenger is set to offload the deadwood in the summer, Xhaka to Arsenal could well hold some truth in it.
Finally, we have Emmanuel Eboue to Arsenal, no I am not kidding. The former Arsenal full back who left the club in 2011 has stated in an interview with the Sun that he would love to come back to Arsenal.
Eboue left the Gunners for Turkish side Galatasaray, and after four years that saw the Ivorian be racially abused on the pitch and the club president ordering the manager not to play Eboue, the 32-year-old was released by the club and is now a free agent.
With Debuchy set to leave Arsenal this month, Wenger might consider Eboue as cheap back up for the short-term, before finding a suitable back up right back.
