Manchester United Central defender Marcos Rojo could be on his way to PSG in the Summer. This comes after the Argentine international dragged his heels over a new contract at Old Trafford.
Rojo’s current deal at Manchester United runs to the end of next season. Talks about a new contract is taking too long and new reports have claimed that PSG will be coming in with a £30million bid at the end of the season.
It is no secret that Jose Mourinho has not been impressed with his central defenders this season, with Smalling and Jones both possibly leaving the club in the Summer.
Rojo’s time in the Manchester United first team has been limited because of a knee injury, he has only made two Premier League starts since the turn of the year.
It seems like Mourinho has not been lucky at the back at all, apart from poor performances from Smalling and Jones, Eric Bailly is only just beginning to make a comeback from his ankle injury. Performances by Victor Lindelof have also not been very impressive. Rojo is still believed to be a part of Mourinho’s plans but the manager is believed to be frustrated over the length of time it is taking the former Lisbon man to put pen to paper and secure his United future.
