According to a report by Italian website TuttoMercatoWeb, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is lining up a huge £52m double swoop on the Serie A this Summer. The Italian site claims that Liverpool will be launching bids for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic and Roma’s Leandro Paredes.
28-year-old Ivan Perisic, who has a contract with his current club until at least 2020, has had a super season in which it has seen him attract a host of top European clubs. However, Klopp is believed to be the top runner to secure his services, having coached him in the past at Dortmund. The Merseyside club are reportedly prepared to launch a £30m bid for his services.
Liverpool’s interest in Argentina midfielder Paredes stretches all the way back to last Summer when the Reds looked on course to bring the 22-year-old to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old decided to stay in the Italian capital last Summer and has been rewarded by getting more game time this season which has seen him make 23 appearances for Roma, scoring three times including a stunning strike in last weekend’s win over Sassuolo. Latest reports suggest that Liverpool boss Klopp will offer Roma around £22 million for his services.
