According to reports, Arsenal are extremely interested in signing England international goalkeeper Jack Butland.
The Gunners who have currently slipped outside of the top 4 of the Premier League and landed into sixth following Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to West Brom, have been linked the 24-year-old Stoke City goalkeeper ahead of the coming transfer window.
The Englishman currently has 4 international caps for the Three Lions and has not featured for Stoke City this season due to a fractured ankle. He picked up the injury against Germany around 12 months away.
Butland began his senior career at Championship club Birmingham City before joining Stoke City back in January 2013 and has been able to keep 15 clean sheets in 46 appearances in all competitions, conceding 55 goals.
The report suggests long-serving Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who is set to stay at the emirates beyond the Summer is looking to do a major squad overhaul and with Ospina set to leave will be starting with a move for Jack Butland.
