According to reports in Germany, Liverpool are interested in 20-year-old Schalke attacking midfielder Max Meyer and will be launching a £28million aid for him (Sport Bild).
Meyer has been one of the top youngsters in Europe since 2014, winning his first international cap for Germany at the young age of 18. He has secured 125 appearances for Schalke of which 25 of them were European matches.
Liverpool have already secured the services of Wijnaldum, Mane and Grujic it doesn’t seem like Liverpool are going to need any more attackers. Klopp has done well to improve his attacking options this Summer.
However a report by The Sun claims that Klopp is ready to make a move for the youngster as he is a keen admirer of the playmaker. The 20-year-old German scored 5 goals and assisted 6 in the Bundesliga last season.
Do you think this would be a good move?
