Arsenal are reportedly preparing amid for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko. However, if they plan on securing his services they will need to fight off La Liga giants Real Madrid.
According to a report by the Newcastle Chronicle, Arsenal will face competition from Real Madrid as they are preparing to also launch a bid, in a deal which would see them swap one of their players for the midfielder. They will be doing this to help lower the £35million asking price that Newcastle United have slapped on their player.
Arsenal’s interest in Sissoko was ignited after some fantastic performances by the Frenchman at the Euro 2016, noticeable the performance against Portugal in the final. Sissoko is expected to leave St. James’ Park and Everton and Juventus have also shown interest in the midfielder.
Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez has, according to Don Balon, told Arsene Wenger to bring Arda Turan to Arsenal this Summer.
Since joining Barcelona for £24million, Turan has failed to secure a spot in the starting lineup and with Enrique having added another top midfielder to his team, it is likely that Turan will be sliding further down the pecking order.
As a result of this Sanchez has told Wenger to try and bring in the midfielder to help strengthen the team.
