Chelsea are in the pole position to sign 23-year-old Serie A midfielder Felipe Anderson according to the La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report suggested that Lazio are willing to sell the Brazilian this Summer but only for the right price.
The midfielder recently changed his agent to Bertolucci who is known to be a close associate of Kia Joorabchian.
With Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte reportedly keen on signing the 23-year-old and the two agents having close ties with Chelsea, it does make sense.
The Brazilian was linked heavily with Manchester United last season and Lazio President Lotito revealed back in January that he expected the midfielder to Join Manchester United.
Lotito was quoted by Calciomercato (translated by The Express) saying over the in January: “Felipe Anderson will move to Manchester United next season, for €60 million (which converts to just less than £47m).
“I bought Felipe Anderson for €8 million, and I’ve already sold him on for €60 million.”
Would this be the right move for Chelsea?
