22-year-old Brazilian midfielder tells friends & family he is ‘close to joining Liverpool’



Anderson Talisca has reportedly told multiple friends and family members that he is very close to joining Liverpool.

The 22-year-old Brazilian was linked with a move to Anfield last weekend, with Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claiming that a deal was close and that Benfica would be receiving £21m for the attacking midfielder.

A new report by O Jogo has claimed that Talisca has now told all the people close to him that he will be making the move to England.

It was reported in the past that Talisca had been looking to leave Benfica every since the arrival of new manager Rui Vitoria a year ago.

The Brazilian fell down the pecking order every since the new manager took charge and has only made 21 appearances ins which he only scored 3 goals.

Talisca’s agent is Jorge Mendes and is believed to be the main behind his Liverpool move, after a move to Shangai fell through.
