The 34-year-old, who has a remarkable 111 international caps for his country, has scored a sensational 30 goals and provided 14 assists in 37 appearances in all competitions for the defending Ligue 1 champions so far this season.

Ibrahimovic, who joined Laurent Blanc’s side from AC Milan back in July 2012 in a deal worth around €20m, is said to be already preparing for life in England past this summer, with ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho rumoured to replace Louis van Gaal as Red Devils manager before the beginning of the 2016-17 campaign.

Goal.com believes it is a choice between Manchester United, AC Milan or MLS as to where Ibrahimovic plays next. Manchester doesn’t exactly have the glamour of Milan, New York or LA, but money talks.

Half-a-million euro a week sounds a good deal – if it turns out to be true.

Meanwhile, Depay’s future is in doubt after he was left out of the side’s 18-man squad for today’s FA Cup Final clash with Crystal Palace at Wembley.

Depay had previously been named in the squad for every one of United’s previous 58 competitive games this season, but along with teenage defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson he was left out of the party that travelled by bus from the club’s Carrington training complex on Friday.

Depay has already been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
