West Ham are lining up a surprise £26million bid for Arsenal winger and England international, Theo Walcott.
The Brentwood Gazette report that the Hammers are lining up a big summer move for the out of form attacker, who has lost his spot in the starting XI to Danny Welbeck and Joel Campbell.
The Brentwood Gazette reported last month that West Ham were interested in another Arsenal winger, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, however Arsene Wenger would not want to lose a future star in Chamberlain to a local rival, and the Arsenal manager could let Walcott leave should a bid of £26million be made.
Walcott signed for Arsenal in 2006 at the age of 16, and the now 26-year-old has made over 300 appereances for the Gunners, and scored 54 Premier League goals for Arsenal.
The winger has had spells in and out of the Arsenal first team, and this season Walcott has had a disappointing season as Arsenal aim to win their first league title in over a decade.
