Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is ready to quit Arsenal in search of first team football.

According to the London Evening Standard, the 27-year-old Colombian is fed up of playing second fiddle to Petr Cech, and that Ospina wants to move to a club where first tea, football is guaranteed.

Ospina has only made four appearances for the Gunners this season, however his performances this term compared to last seasons have changed dramatically.

Last season the former Nice keeper was brought into the side after Wojciech Szczesny was at the centre of an error-strewn New Year’s Day defeat at Southampton, and Ospina went on to keep 10 clean sheets in 24 matches from that point onwards.

However Arsene Wenger is keen to keep Ospina at Arsenal, the Gunners boss said last month: “It was a very, very difficult decision for me [to sign Cech] because I rate Ospina highly. “Ospina is a keeper who, in my opinion, is underrated, especially in England.”

A number of clubs including Getafe, Besiktas, Genoa and Palermo are interested in signing Ospina, but it is believed that the keeper would be open to staying in England.
