Talk Sport claim Liverpool have made a bid for Celta Vigo striker, Manuel Agudo Durán, also known as Nolito. The outlet claim both Liverpool and Arsenal are ready to pay the amount of €18 million for the striker as competition for the forward heats up. Nolito has managed a total of 35 goals in 84 appearances for Celta Vigo, averaging a goal every 2.4 games. Not the most impressive stats; however with 8 goals in 10 games this season, the 29 year old seems to be in the peak of his career meaning it could be the prime time for a team to purchase the striker. With a potential deal costing around the €18 million mark, it is believed Nolito could be an alternative option to the much more expensive Alex Teixeira, the Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Liverpool are also interested in. As time quickly runs out in the January transfer market, Liverpool boss, Jürgen Klopp appears desperate to find a suitable attacker to help the Reds add more goals to their game. However the German seems unwilling to fork out the huge sum of £38 million which Shakhtar are demanding for Teixeira. With this being the case, the option of Nolito for €18 million could just turn out to be the player Klopp opts for.
