Arsenal are set to go head-to-head with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid for the signing of Leroy Sane, according to Marca.
Ever since Sane broke onto the scene with Schalke this season, the 19-year-old attacker has been one of the most in demand youngsters in Europe, with the afore mentioned Barcelona and Real Madrid all interested in Sane, as well as Liverpool and Manchester City.
Sane’s current contract expires in 2019, however the winger’s buyout clause is reportedly set to over £30million, however due to how well the winger has been this season for the German club, it’s now wonder why Schalke have set the price so high for this talented player.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa look to have fallen out of the race for the loan signing of Mathieu Debuchy after Bayer Leverkusen have emerged the favourites to acquire the Frenchman’s services for the second half of the season.
According to the Telegraph, Villa are reluctant to pay the £1.25million loan fee for Debuchy, whilst the outlet also claim that Bayer Leverkusen have launched a bid for the 30-year-old.
Debuchy is desperate to leave Arsenal in search for first team football, and now it looks like he has found his escape tunnel.
