Reports from Italy are claiming that Manchester United are closing in on 24-year-old Dynamo Kiev central defender Aleksandar Dragovic. Sport Mediaset claimed earlier on this week that Manchester United are ready to secure the 24-year-old’s defensive services and could do so as early as by tomorrow.
Although the Austria international was linked with Premier League title contenders Leicester City, new reports have suggested that talks have ended as Dynamo are demanding £25m which is above Leicester’s evaluation for the player.
The Austrian defender was monitored multiple times by Arsenal when he was playing at Basel but Wenger decided a move for the player was not what he wanted which resulted in the Swiss international making a switch to the Ukrainian side.
Manchester United are definitely in need of some defensive help after conceding 3 goals midweek against relegation battlers Newcastle United.
